BACOLOD City – A 5-year-old minor was killed in a road crash in Barangay Canturay, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
According to police investigation, the victim was crossing on a road when a cargo-truck driven by 44-year-old Joemarie Dumaga-is of Barangay Mandalagan hit him around 11:10 a.m. on Thursday.
He was brought to the Merceditas Montilla District Hospital in Sipalay City where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Dumaga-is was detained in the Sipalay City police station’s custodial facility, facing charges./PN
