ROXAS City – This city was declared Region 6’s “Best PESO Employment Information System (PEIS) Implementer” in the 3rd Class City category.
The city’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO) logged the highest number of registered jobseekers last year in its category.
“This award is a proof that the city government is doing its best to ensure prompt and efficient delivery of employment service and the provision of information to our kasimanwas,” said Mayor Ronnie Dadivas.
He commended PESO Roxas City head Mila Barquin.
The PESO PEIS is a database of active manpower supply containing the profiles of all persons and employers registered under the National Skills Registry Program of the Department of Labor and Employment.
It stores information on the qualifications and skills of jobseekers, as well as job vacancies./PN
