CAPIZ — Roxas City became the venue for the Department of Education’s (DepEd) Regional Workshop and Library Hubs Learning Resource Expo 2025, an event aimed at strengthening the use of supplementary learning resources in public schools.

The activity, held at Robinsons Roxas, was spearheaded by the DepEd Schools Division of Roxas in partnership with the Roxas City government.

DepEd OIC-Assistant Regional Director Dr. Miguel Mac Aposin led the formal opening of the Learning Resource Expo, which featured an exhibit of innovative and diverse learning materials crafted by teachers across the region.

Aside from the showcase, a workshop was also conducted to train educators on the proper organization and utilization of supplementary learning resources to enhance teaching in public schools.

City Councilor Paul Ivan Baticados, together with Dr. Bryan Mari Argos, represented Mayor Ronnie Dadivas in expressing the local government’s support for the initiative.

Organizers said the event highlighted not only the creativity and dedication of teachers but also the importance of collaboration between DepEd and local government units in advancing education./PN
