ILOILO City – In Barangay Aguirre, Sara, Iloilo, a 43-year-old man was wounded in a hacking incident.
Resident Robert Pama was recuperating at the Sara District Hospital. He sustained hack wounds on the body, a police report showed.
The suspect was identified as 36-year-old laborer Ariel Lasconia, it added.
Lasconia allegedly hacked Pama after a heated argument ensued between them around 9:20 p.m. on Dec. 16. It was not immeditely established what triggered the altercation.
The suspect was arrested and detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station, facing charges./PN
