ILOILO City – A security guard stabbed his two drinking buddies at the Iloilo Fish Port Complex in Barangay Tanza Baybay, City Proper.

Isagani Amar, who was assigned at the fish port, was detained at the Police Station 1 custodial facility, a police report showed.

Police identified the victims as Albert Rivera, 40, and Alvin Palma, 34, both fish port maintenance personnel and residents of Barangay Infante, Molo.

The three had a heated argument while binge drinking at around 8:55 p.m. on Monday.

Amar, a 45-year-old resident of Barangay Ipil, Barbaza, Antique, grabbed a knife and charged at his pals, the police report stated.

Rivera and Palma sustained stab wounds on their bodies. They were confined at the Iloilo Doctors’ Hospital in Molo.
