ILOILO City – A sedan and a family business (FB) van figured in a crash at around 7 a.m. yesterday along the highway in Barangay Buhang, Jaro district.
The Jac Prince FB van (plate number: XMI 767) swerved and fell on its side after the Toyota sedan (plate number: UHD 892) crashed against it. The sedan was damaged on its right side and bumper as a result, a Jaro police station traffic investigator said.
No one was injured in the incident.
Donna Sinoy, 48, of New Lucena, Iloilo was driving the sedan. The van driver was Rodel Juanico, 41, of Passi City.
The incident happened while the van was heading to Barangay Balantang from Barangay Quintin Salas, said Police Office 3 Richard Ivan Lopez.
When the van reached the Circumferential Road intersection in Barangay Buhang, the sedan – at the time heading to Barangay Tacas from Barangay Balabago – collided into the van’s left side, said Lopez./PN
