
BACOLOD City – The Bacolod Yuhum Foundation Inc. (BYFI), the organizer of the MassKara Festival, has started selling kiosks for this year’s edition of the festival.
The festival organizer earlier revealed the four festival sites – Bacolod public plaza, Bacolod City Government Center (BCGC), Lacson tourism strip, and The Upper East-Megaworld.
Jericho Redil, administrative and finance head of BYFI, said selling of kiosks for the plaza and BCGC is ongoing.
For the two other sites, BYFI has yet to announce the schedule of kiosk selling.
The kiosks rates range from P20,000 to P25,000 but the festival organizer is still considering lowering the rates.
Redil said those interested to avail of the kiosks at the plaza and BCGC may contact mobile number 09691505050, or visit their office at the third floor of N&G Building on corner Doña Maria-Esteban Streets, Barangay 32.
MassKara kiosks operation will commence on October 12 for the plaza and BCGC, October 23 to 27 for The Upper East, and October 25, 26 and 27 for Lacson tourism strip.
On August 17, BYFI officially unveiled the MassKara Festival 2024 celebration theme, logo, and activities.
This year’s theme is Sapphire Celebration that will feature numerous activities and events. The official events will begin on October 11 and the highlights will be on October 27.
Various agencies involved in the staging of the festival had convened last week to finalize arrangements, with a primary focus on the site plans for the four main venues, to ensure seamless execution of the festival./PN
