SHAI Gilgeous-Alexander fired 37 points in three quarters as Oklahoma City Thunder cruised past Portland Trail Blazers, 122–95, in the 2025-26 NBA Regular Season on Sunday night (Monday in the Philippines) at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The reigning NBA MVP shot 13-of-18 from the field and made all nine of his free throws to lead the defending champions to their ninth straight victory and avenge a 121-119 loss to the Trail Blazers earlier this month.
Ajay Mitchell added 20 points on a perfect 8-of-8 shooting, while Isaiah Joe contributed 10 markers for the defending champions Thunder, who improved to an NBA-best 17–1 record.
Gilgeous-Alexander set the tone early with 17 first-quarter points as the Thunder opened a 39–18 lead. He closed the first half with a layup to reach 28 points and extend the Thunder’s lead to 67–46.
Oklahoma City, who are still playing without All-Star Jalen Williams and Aaron Wiggins due to injuries, maintained full control the rest of the way as the outcome was never in doubt.
Jerami Grant paced Portland with 21 points. Deni Avdija, added 11 points on 4-of-16 shooting. Portland played without guards Shaedon Sharpe and Jrue Holiday, both out due to right calf strains.
Meanwhile, Atlanta Hawks erased a three-point deficit in the endgame to score a come-from-behind 113-110 victory over Charlotte Hornets at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
Down 107-110 with over two minutes left, the Hawks got back-to-back baskets from Jalen Johnson and Nickeil Alexander-Walker to take a 111-110 lead before the later added two free throws to seal the win.
Johnson led the Hawks with 28 points, 11 assists, and eight rebounds, Alexander-Walker added 23 markers, while Dyson Daniels, Onyeka Okongwu, and Keaton Wallace chipped in 22, 20, and 10, respectively.
