ILOILO City – A laborer was nabbed in a drug sting operation in Barangay Laguda, La Paz district.
Police identified him as 51-year-old Elmer Arebal of Barangay Alalasan, La Paz.
Arebal was caught in an entrapment operation around 5 a.m. on July 21, a police report showed.
Recovered from his possession were seven sachets of suspected shabu and P2,100 marked money, it added.
The suspect was detained in the La Paz police station’s lockup facility, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
