ILOILO City – He allegedly sold shabu.
The 23-year-old Ryan John Ortiz was nabbed in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Cabugao Norte, Sta. Barbara, Iloilo.
Ortiz – resident of Barangay Cabugao Sur, Pavia, Iloilo – sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P1,300 around 7 p.m. on July 20, police said.
When frisked, the suspect yielded four more sachets of illegal drugs, the police added.
He was detained in the lockup cell of the Sta. Barbara municipal police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against Ortiz./PN
