ILOILO City – A man was shot in Barangay Improgo, Sara, Iloilo, a police report showed.
He was identified as 56-year-old resident Reynaldo Destacamento, a resident of the village.
Destacamento was standing in the terrace of his house around 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 7 when an unidentified suspect fired at him, police said. The suspect then fled.
Destacamento, meanwhile, was rushed to the Sara District Hospital for medical treatment.
Officers of the municipal police station have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in the incident./PN
