ILOILO City – In Barangay Poblacion Jordan, Guimaras a 38-year-old was arrested for illegal gun possession.
The police seized from Joebert Saludes of Barangay Tamburong, San Lorenzo, Guimaras a 12-gauge shotgun around 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 13.
Saludes was detained at the Jordan police station.
The Jordan police was poised to charge the suspect with violating the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act. The suspect failed to present documents proving his legal ownership of the firearm.
Cops were alerted about Saludes by a concerned citizen who spotted the suspect with a shotgun./PN
