BACOLOD City – For alleged violation of a municipal fishing ordinance, six persons were apprehended by the Ilog, Negros Occidental municipal police station and Bantay Dagat Task Force.
They were Stephen Valencia, 39; Dexter Tugbo, 26; Alex Once Jr., 32; Joseph Valencia, 47; Ryan Baylas, 37; and Reynan Baylas, 32, all residents of Barangay Su-ay, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
Two fishing nets were recovered from them at around 9 a.m. on Aug. 17.
The suspects were taken to the Ilog police station./PN
