SANTA Barbara Futbolilits captured the championship in the girls division of the 3rd Ati-Atihan Futsal Cup at the Aklan Catholic College covered gym in Kalibo, Aklan.
Behind tournament Most Valuable Player Merrylou Soriano and Michaela Danielle Palomo, Futbolilits beat Cebu Razkals FC in the finals on Sunday.
Barotac Nuevo Comprehensive National High School salvaged a third place finish after defeating Central Philippine University.
Other competing teams in the girls division were Aklan Catholic College High School, Manoc-manoc High School, Guimbal, Capiz National High School Lady Warriors, Aklan Futsal Team, Iloilo City National High School, New Washington Comprekadas, and Cebu Talisay.
On Saturday, Ateneo de Iloilo claimed the championship in the boys division.
Janiuay United, Iloilo Christian School and University of San Agustin took the second, third and fourth places, respectively./PN
