Sta. Clarita goes 2-0 in NBTC-Iloilo

STA. CLARITA International School Primes claimed a huge scalp in the National Basketball Training Center Iloilo leg after a 103-63 victory over St. Robert’s International Academy Panda Rockets on Tuesday at the Western Institute of Technology gym.

Ralph Bajon led the way with 22 points, while Jemar Cepriano contributed 21 markers for the Rodel Camacho-mentored Primes, which cruised to solo first place in Group B with 2-0 win-loss slate.

Centerphil Montessori Silver Knights also tallied its second straight win after taking down Assumption Passi, 78-56, to take the solo first place in Group C with 2-0 win-loss card.

Lester Valn Paraico continued his impressive showing for the Silver Knights as he finished with 20 points, while Ronald Silorio added 14 markers.

Iloilo National High School, meanwhile, currently heads Group D also with 2-0 win-loss slate following a 77-67 victory over the Santa Isabel College of Iloilo.

Kyle Dashel Somogot fired 19 markers, while Brent Tyrone Tormon added 18 markers for the Iloilo National High.

Moreover, the Mandurriao National High School finally barged into the win column in Group A following a 71-62 win over PAREF-Westbridge. Kirk Patrick Togonon had 23 markers for Mandurriao./PN
