ILOILO City – Roshel Caniel was rushed to the Tapaz District Hospital where he was confined.

The 34-year-old laborer from Barangay San Francisco, Tapaz, Capiz had been stabbed on the body, a police report showed.

Police identified the suspect as Jovy Asero of the same barangay.

An argument prompted the stabbing at around 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 10 in Barangay Taft, Tapaz, the report stated.

Asero fled after the incident./PN
