BACOLOD City – A man landed in a hospital after he was stabbed in Barangay 1, Ilog, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Eighteen-year-old Joemari Mainit of Barangay Vista Alegre, Ilog received medical treatment in the Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
He sustained a stab wound on the body, the report added.
According to police investigation, Mainit was dancing inside a covered court when an unidentified suspect stabbed him using a bladed weapon around 11:10 p.m. on Monday.
Officers of the municipal police station have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in the incident./PN
