BACOLOD City – Three residents of Barangay 16 were facing a string of criminal charges.

Police Station 1 arrested Johnrey Quindo, 30, Marcelino Flores, 44, and Joebert Alisen, 26.

They were creating alarm and scandal, police said.

After their arrest on May 19, officers recovered from them an improvised pen gun loaded with a bullet for a .38-caliber revolver, a 6-inch-long belt knife, a 6-inch-long jungle knife, and two plastic packs of suspected shabu worth some P400.

Police said the men were facing charges for alarm and scandal, and violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

They may also be charged with violation of City Ordinance 358, which prohibits the carrying of deadly weapons and similar instruments outside of residence or workplace.

All three were detained at Police Station 1./PN
