ILOILO City – Accused of stealing from Iloilo Supermart, a native of Caloocan City had been arrested.
Marjorie Baytos, 24, was detained at Police Station 1.
She had five accomplices but they managed to escape, a police report showed. They remained unidentified as of press time.
Eight Purefoods Hamon de Bola worth P315 each and a Pregroe 4-in-1 bottled conditioner worth P180 were seized from Baytos at around 1:24 p.m. on Wednesday.
The suspects took the items from Mary Mart mall branch of Iloilo Supermart in Barangay Edganzon, City Proper, placed them in a camouflage-designed bag and left without paying for them at the cashier, police said.
Police were still trying to identify and catch the other suspects as of press time./PN
