ILOILO City – In Barangay Tabuc Suba, Jaro district, a resident was arrested for allegedly selling a prohibited drug.
The 22-year-old Edwin Zarragoza was detained at the Jaro police station.
Zarragoza sold a plastic pack of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer for P1,600, a police report showed.
He was facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The buy-bust at around 2 p.m. on Jan. 6 was a joint operation of the Jaro police station and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 6./PN
