ILOILO City – In Barangay Sablogon, Passi City a theft suspect was arrested.
The 45-year-old Nelson Candido was a resident of Barangay Sto. Niño, Arevalo, Iloilo City. He was detained at the Passi City police station lockup cell on Monday.
Around 3 p.m., the police served a warrant of arrest to Candido for two counts of theft. It was issued by the Municipal Trial Court in Cities.
As of this writing, it was unclear if Candido was able to post bail for his temporary liberty.
The court set the suspect’s bail bond at P10,000 for each count of the theft charge./PN
