ANTIQUE — Police arrested Western Visayas’ top three most wanted fugitives in a series of operations in Culasi town on November 1, according to the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6).

The tracker team of the Culasi Municipal Police Station spearheaded the operations, alongside the 2nd Antique Provincial Mobile Force Company, Provincial Intelligence Team Antique, and Regional Intelligence Unit 6. Arrest warrants for the suspects were issued on October 22, 2026 by the Regional Trial Court, Sixth Judicial Region, Branch 13 in Culasi, Antique. The three accused are all facing two counts of statutory rape by carnal knowledge with no recommended bail.

The suspects are all fishermen and residents of Culasi. Authorities first arrested 22-year-old alias “Ay-Ay,” who ranked as the No. 1 most wanted person at the regional, provincial, and municipal levels, at 11:55 a.m. Shortly after at 1:30 p.m., police captured his 32-year-old brother, alias “Ar-Ar,” who ranked as the No. 2 most wanted at the regional and municipal levels and No. 3 at the provincial level. The 25-year-old alias “Mar-Mar” was the last to be arrested at 2:15 p.m., ranking as the No. 3 most wanted at the regional and municipal levels and No. 4 at the provincial level.

The suspects are currently detained at the Culasi Municipal Police Station for documentation and processing prior to their turnover to the issuing court.

PRO-6 director Police Brig. Gen. Randulf Tuaño commended the collaborative efforts of the police units and the local community following the arrests.
