TORONTO Raptors pulled off a late defensive stand to stun Oklahoma City Thunder, 103–101, in the 2025-26 NBA Regular Season on Sunday night (Monday in the Philippines) in Oklahoma City.
Immanuel Quickley delivered a strong all-around performance, finishing with a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds, including two pressure-packed free throws in the closing seconds.
R.J. Barrett chipped in 14 points, while Scottie Barnes produced a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds as the Raptors secured their fourth consecutive victory.
Toronto controlled much of the first half and carried a slim lead into the break. Oklahoma City briefly seized momentum in the third quarter, but the Raptors stayed within striking distance and reclaimed the advantage late in the game.
A key defensive play by Barnes in the final minute denied Holmgren at the rim, allowing Toronto to keep possession in a one-possession game. After a pair of missed free throws by Jamal Shead, Quickley was fouled and calmly converted both shots to give the Raptors breathing room.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander top-scored for the reigning champions Thunder with 24 points on an efficient shooting night. Lu Dort scored 19, Kenrich Williams had 15, and Chet Holmgren finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Stephen Curry scored 26 points to lead the Golden State Warriors past Minnesota, 111-85, the fifth straight loss for the Timberwolves and their longest skid in more than three years.
Curry added seven assists and four of his team’s season-high 20 steals after being listed as questionable to play because of knee soreness. Moses Moody had 19 points and eight rebounds, and Brandin Podziemski chipped in 12 points, six assists and four steals.
Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 32 points and 11 rebounds after the game was postponed a day following the fatal shooting of a Minneapolis man by federal immigration officers.
