ROXAS City – A 31-year-old transgender woman complained to the police here that her 18-year-old boyfriend beat her up in Barangay Dayao.
Jerene Baylon was a resident of Barangay Culasi. She said Ryan Jay Artates of Barangay San Jose kicked her, hit her with a hard object and pelted her with stones during a heated argument.
Baylon did not say what their misunderstanding was about but showed to the police the cuts and bruises she sustained.
Cops detained Artates at the Roxas City police station.
Baylon did not say if she would press charges against her boyfriend./PN
