BACOLOD City – The tricycle they were riding hit the gutter along the road at the Reclamation Area in Barangay Tinampaan, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
The 62-year-old tricycle driver Randy Besidella Amayna of Sitio Narra in Tinampaan died, a police report showed.
Amayna was not as lucky as his wife Aime and their minor relative RJ Luntrago, who were only injured.
The crash happened around 5:50 p.m. on Jan. 1, the report stated.
Amayna sustained head and body injuries. He was rushed to the Cadiz City Emergency Clinic where the attending physician pronounced him “dead on arrival.”/PN
