ILOILO City – Motorcycle-riding gunmen shot a trisikad driver on Luna Street, La Paz district.
The 45-year-old Edwin Japitana of Barangay Gustilo, La Paz was taken to the West Visayas State University Medical Center for a gunshot wound on the chest.
The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 8. Japitana was sleeping in his trisikad.
Witnesses said the gunmen stopped by Japitana’s trisikad, shot the sleeping driver then fled.
The gunmen were wearing helmets, said the police, citing statements from witnesses.
