ILOILO – A truck driver was wounded after his co-worker shot him in stomach on Thursday evening, June 6 in Brgy. Balabag, Pavia, Iloilo.
The victim was identified as Glen Pasol, 48 years old, and a resident of Brgy. Sambag Culob, Anilao while the suspect was identified as Adrian Lozada Latoza, 43 years old, and a resident of Brgy. Bagongbong, Lambunao.
According to Police Master Sergeant Luther Maderse, investigator of Pavia MPS, the victim and his nephew named Christian Pasol were having a drinking session in their barracks when the suspect suddenly entered their barracks and shoot him using a .38 revolver.
It is said that before the incident happened, Pasol and Latoza had a misunderstanding days ago.
The victim was brought to hospital for proper medical treatment.
The authorities recovered .38 revolver, four firee cartridge, and 6 live ammunition.
The suspect ran after commiting the crime.
The hot pursuit operation by the authorities continues to capture the suspect.
