ILOILO City – Crossing the road turned fatal for a man in Barangay 1, San Miguel, Iloilo City.
Resident Antonio Amoma was killed in a crash, a police report showed.
He was crossing the road around 8 a.m. on Jan. 26 when a truck hit him, the report added.
Amoma sustained head and body injuries.
He was rushed to the Western Visayas Medical Center where he expired.
The driver of the truck – 40-year-old Richard De Peña of Barangay Anilao, Pavia, Iloilo – was detained in the San Miguel municipal police station./PN
