ILOILO City – Several assorted logs from an illegal logging activity were recovered in Barangay Millamena, Sibalom, Antique.
Officers from the municipal police station found the logs around 8 p.m. on Sunday after they received a tip that an illegal logging activity was conducted in the village.
The perpetrators however evaded arrest. They left the logs behind, police said.
The logs were now in the custody of the police station./PN
