ILOILO City – Officers have arrested two wanted persons in Batan, Aklan and Barbaza, Antique, police reports showed.
Charged with grave oral defamation, resident Jocelyn Salvador was caught in Sitio Barrio, Barangay Mambuquiao, Batan.
The Batan municipal police took custody of the 48-year-old, whom they arrested at around 12:50 p.m. on Jan. 28.
A P6,000 bail bond has been set for her temporary liberty. It was not clear as of this writing if Salvador has posted bail.
In Sitio Liboton, Barangay Jinalinan, Barbaza, the 29-year-old Albert Española was caught at around 2 p.m. on Jan. 28.
The resident of Barangay Esparar, Barbaza was charged with violation of Presidential Decree 1866 as amended by Republic Act 8294.
His bail bond was set at P40,000. It was not immediately clear if the suspect has posted bail.
The Barbaza municipal police took the suspect in custody./PN
