ILOILO City – Suspected of indiscriminately firing a gun, a pedicab driver was arrested in Barangay Da-an Banwa, Tapaz, Capiz.
Larry Bluma, 43, of Barangay Tabon, Tapaz may face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, a police report showed.
Officers from the Tapaz police station were patrolling at around 8:40 p.m. on Jan. 28 when they heard a gunshot.
While searching for its origin, they came near a variety store. That was when they saw Bluma in possession of a short firearm.
Seized from Bluma was a .45 pistol but this was already without a magazine, the police report stated.
