ILOILO City – A 24-year-old woman from Bacolod City accused of shoplifting was taken to Police Station 1.
Maria Kendra Cortado allegedly stole a pack of underwear from the department store Unitop in Barangay Edganzon, City Proper.
Security guard Analyn Acosta arrested Cortado when the latter took the store item without paying for it, a police report showed.
Cortado was detained at the Police Station 1 lockup facility after her arrest around 2 p.m. on Sunday./PN
