The couple, who wed in September 2022, are currently expecting their first child together, the former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate and beauty queen announced on social media on Tuesday, May 9.

Sharing a sonogram video of their baby on Instagram, Vickie confirmed her pregnancy.

“The first time we saw you. ‘For this child we have prayed and the Lord has granted the desires of our hearts.’ 1 Samuel 1:27,” she wrote.

In a separate post, Vickie thanked God for answering her prayers as she celebrated turning 31 on Monday, May 8.

“Thank you so much for all the birthday love, everyone! I’ve never had so much love showered over me as I had yesterday. To my family and friends, thank you for always making my day extra special. You know how much I love receiving letters and anything made with love. Thank you for showering me with hugs and kisses until 12mn,” she said.

“To Baba, thank you for the sweetest surprise. I love you all sooo much! Most of all, thank you, Lord, for answering my prayers. You’ve blessed me more than I deserve,” she added.

Earlier, Jason, 38, penned a sweet message for his wife in honor of her milestone birthday.

“Maligayang kaarawan mahal kong asawa. Kulang ang pasasalamat sa panginoon dahil ikaw ang makakasama ko habang buhay. Ang pagmamahal ng panginoon ay ramdam ko pag nakikita ko kung anong puso ang meron ka. Mahal na mahal kita,” he said.

Vickie and Jason, 38, tied the knot in a church ceremony in Batangas last September, after getting engaged in 2021 following a 10-year relationship.

The pair first met in 2010 during a Kapamilya Karavan event in Bacolod, where Vickie is from. They started dating the following year when Vickie was crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas International 2011.

Meanwhile, Jason still works as an actor. He recently delved into politics and was able to secure a seat as a board member in the second district of his hometown of Nueva Ecija. (PUSH)
