ILOILO City – An unidentified vintage explosive device was found in the Janiuay Pilot Elementary School on Tuesday.
Security guard Ronnie Carlo Ochong and janitor Joel Peniero turned over the item to the Janiuay police station.
Construction workers found the explosive device beside the Alumni Hall of the school in Barangay SM Villa, a police report showed.
The discovery was referred to the Explosive and Ordnance Division of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office. (Carolyn Jane Abello, trainee reporter/PN)
