ILOILO City – Vista Land and Lifescapes, Inc., the country’s premier real estate developer, will open a mall inside Savannah City.

Vista Land chairman Manny Villar disclosed that the construction of the mall will start in three weeks.

“This will be a big mall. It will have the latest state-of-the-art cinemas, supermarkets … kumpleto. Mas maganda ito. Iba ito sa ibang malls. This is far more advanced than traditional malls, the former senator told Panay News.

The mall will be situated inside Savannah City, which spans more than 500 hectares and is strategically spread over the towns of Oton, Pavia and San Miguel.

After the mall, the company is also eyeing to construct business-process outsourcing firm, hotel, amusement park and hospital within the 100-hectare area of the real estate development.

“Right now Savannah has 500 hectares. One hundred hectares of which will be given to the commercial aspect,” he shared.

Villar furthermore disclosed that Savannah’s Georgia International Academy will be expanded into a college.

“Once the construction of the mall starts, tuluy-tuloy na ‘yan. Sabay sabay na ‘yan. This is going to make Savannah the biggest development in Visayas,” the Ilonggo billionaire said, adding that the completion of the mall is eyed within 15 to 18 months.

“We want to be part of Iloilo’s progress. We want to be able to serve the community,” he noted.
