ILOILO City – Police have yet to identify and catch the suspect in a fatal shooting in Barangay Our Lady of Lourdes, Jaro district.
Bernardo Tampani, 54, of Barangay Ga-ub, Cabatuan, Iloilo had multiple gunshot wounds on the body.
He was taken to the West Visayas State University Medical Center but the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
The unidentified shooter fired at Tampani, who was sitting inside Jaro Car Spa, around 10:30 a.m. yesterday, police said.
After which, the suspect fled on board a motorcycle driven by another unidentified person, police said.
The firearm the shooter used remains unidentified, too, as of this writing./PN
