ILOILO City – A laborer had been shot dead in Barangay Bongbongan, Ma-ayon, Capiz, a police report showed.
Investigators were still trying to delve into the circumstances surrounding the death of Arman Decamos.
Police have identified a suspect – another laborer, Jimuel Suarez.
Both Decamos and Suarez were residents of Barangay Bongbongan, the police report stated.
From what the investigators have so far gathered, the shooting happened at around 8 p.m. on March 11.
The Ma-ayon police station learned about it from Barangay Captain Edgar Ramon, who called at around 2:30 a.m. on March 12, stated the report.
Investigation showed the suspect fled after the incident.
Police were still searching for him as of this writing and have yet to determine the firearm used./PN
