ILOILO City – Charged with slander, a woman was arrested in Barangay Poblacion, Zarraga, Iloilo yesterday.
Helen Malaca, 58, was a resident of the town’s Barangay Tuburan Sulbod.
She was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 10:15 a.m. and taken to the Zarraga police station.
An P18,000 bail bond was recommended for her temporary liberty.
As this was being written, it was unclear if Malaca posted bail./PN
