BACOLOD City – A 57-year-old woman drowned in the sea in Barangay Zone 1, Pulupandan, Negros Occidental.
Warlinda Yanson was a resident of the village.
According to police investigators, Yanson was fetching a floating bamboo pole around 11 a.m. on Sept. 20 when she was swept away by strong waves.
The victim was rushed to the town’s Rural Health Unit where she expired./PN
