BACOLOD City – A woman was arrested for alleged robbery extortion in an entrapment operation inside a mall in Barangay-Singcang Airport here around 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8.
The suspect was identified as alias “Joan”, 27, and a resident of Bago City, Negros Occidental .
Officers of the Bacolod City Police Office’s Criminal Investigation Unit and Police Station 6 seized P31,000 in cash and a cellular phone used by the suspect in her alleged extortion activities.
The suspect is now under police custody.
The BCPO, under Colonel Joeresty Coronica, said investigations are currently ongoing to determine further details regarding the suspect’s involvement in other potential criminal activities./PN
