BACOLOD City – A woman whose name appeared in a list accompanying a plastic container with severed human hands is seeking help from authorities.

Alias “Mary Rose” said she now fears leaving home.

On Wednesday, two severed human hands were found in a plastic ice cream container in Purok Kagaykay, Barangay 2.

Also recovered was a list of 22 names and a warning in capital letters: “TANAN KAMU KUNG INDI KAMU MAG-UNTAT RAFFLE LANG NA…”

Mary Rose served prison time for illegal drug use in 2019 and was released in 2020 after securing a plea bargain.

Bacolod City Police Station 2 Captain Jonito Pastrana confirmed that some of the individuals listed were drug surrenderees, while others were no longer residing in the village.

Pastrana also said they recovered footage from a nearby closed-circuit television camera where a white van was seen stopping between 2:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. in the area where the container was recovered.

However, the footage was unable to show the vehicle’s plate number.

Pastrana appealed to the individuals on the list to take the warning seriously and stop involving themselves in illegal drug activities.

Meanwhile, the Philippine National Police Scene of the Crime Operatives (PNP-SOCO) confirmed that the severed hands were real.

PNP-SOCO is now trying to identify the person or persons who owned the severed hands./PN
