ILOILO City – A woman stabbed a barangay tanod in Barangay Quinolpan, San Enrique, Iloilo.
The 58-year-old village watchman Danilo Paclibar of Barangay Quinolpan received treatment at the San Enrique District Hospital.
He sustained stab wounds on the left arm, a police report showed.
According to the police, the 27-year-old Jinky Columbres – also a resident of Barangay Quinolpan – attacked Paclibar while they were having a heated argument around 7:40 p.m. on Monday.
It was not immediately clear what weapon did Columbres use in stabbing Paclibar nor was what triggered the altercation.
Columbres was arrested and detained in the lockup facility of the municipal police station./PN
