ILOILO City – A woman is currently a subject of a police manhunt. She disappeared after stabbing her husband in Barangay Calaan, Panitan, Capiz, police said.
Elisa Deondo had a fight with husband Ronilo, 50, on Wednesday night.
From what the police so far gathered, the wife told her husband to visit the wake of a dead neighbor but before he could leave the house, they had a heated argument.
The stabbing happened around 11:50 p.m., police said. Ronilo was taken to the Roxas Memorial District Hospital for a wound on the chest.
Elisa’s whereabouts remained unknown as of this writing./PN
