ANTIQUE – Authorities successfully apprehended the No. 7 most wanted individual in Western Visayas in Barangay District III, Sibalom.
The suspect, known by the alias “Crispin” and aged 66, is facing rape charges.
His arrest at approximately 2:40 p.m. on Friday, April 12, was made pursuant to the warrants of arrest issued by Hon. Ernesto Labio Abijay Jr., Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 10 in San Jose de Buenavista, Antique, dated April 1, 2024.
No bail has been recommended for his temporary release.
The successful police operation was conducted through the collaborative efforts of the Sibalom Municipal Police Station, Antique Provincial Intelligence and Investigation Unit, Highway Patrol Group, and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Antique.
Currently, the accused is in the custody of the Sibalom police, pending turnover to the appropriate court./PN
