ANTIQUE – Police arrested the No. 2 most wanted person in Western Visayas around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, in Barangay Valentine Grasparil, Sibalom here.
Alias “Jimmy”, 40, is a resident of the said place.
Joint operatives of the Sibalom Municipal Police Station, Antique Police Provincial Office’s Intelligence Unit and 1st Antique Provincial Mobile Force Company executed the arrest through the strength of an arrest warrant for the crime of rape issued by the court dated December 19, 2024.
The suspect was detained at the Sibalom MPS pending turnover to the court concerned.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty.

Meanwhile, from 6 a.m. on January 15 to 5:59 a.m. on January 16, various police units apprehended 23 other wanted persons across the region.
