ILOILO— The Tracker Team of the Estancia Municipal Police Station, in collaboration with the 2nd Iloilo Provincial Mobile Force Company, apprehended one of Western Visayas’ most wanted persons.
The operation took place at around 9:12 p.m. on April 10 n Purok 5, Sitio Kawayanan, Barangay Bulaqueña, Estancia town.
The suspect, identified by the alias “Makoy,” is a 26-year-old laborer and resident of Estancia.
He was served a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, 6th Judicial Region, Branch 70, in Barotac Viejo, Iloilo.
Dated April 6, 2026, the warrant outlines charges of statutory rape and sexual assault, with no bail set for the former and a bail amounting to P180,000 imposed for the latter.
As of writing Makoy was under the custody of the Estancia Municipal Police Station for proper disposition./PN
