ILOILO – A 22-year-old man from Barangay Tiwi, Barotac Nuevo took his own life on Saturday, Oct. 28.
The young man was just released from the hospital after he had previously attempted to commit suicide the day before. He got rescued by a friend then.
His initial attempt to hang himself came after the death of his 20-year-old live-in partner, who also killed herself, the Barotac Nuevo police said.
The police added that their tragic deaths were allegedly rooted in jealousy.
