KALIBO, Aklan – About 171 students from Aklan and Antique took the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) entrance examination.

The exam was at the Northwestern Visayan College in this capital town on Sunday.

“Kalibo is one of the 30 examination centers across the country,” said PMA Kalibo exam acting chief Major Maristela dela Paz.

PMA has lowered its height limit from 5 feet and 4 inches to at least 5 feet, both for amle and female applicants.

“It’s the first time,” said dela Paz.

Passers will undergo a physical examination, she added.

PMA will open its doors to its new students on April next year./PN
