ILOILO City – Another suspected swindler was arrested in Capiz province, this time in Barangay Cogon, Sigma town.
Resident Marites Eballonado, 35, had been charged with estafa.
She was detained at the Sigma police station after her arrest around 9:30 a.m. yesterday, a police report showed.
Officers served her with an arrest warrant issued by Judge Ignacio Alajar of the Regional Trial Court Branch 18. Alajar set the bail at P16,000.
Thursday last week, the 61-year-old Marilou Parreño, also charged with estafa, was arrested in Barangay Poblacion Ilaya, Dumarao.
The resident of Barangay Bungsuan, Dumarao was in the house of a relative when police served her a warrant of arrest, a police report showed./PN
