ILOILO City – Two brothers from Laua-an, Antique were confined at the district hospital in the capital town of San Jose.

The Agustin brothers PJ, 24, and Honey Joe, 22, both residents of Barangay Villa, Laua-an, were hacked, police said.

Police identified the suspect as Samson Taladocon, 40, of the same barangay.

A heated argument between Taladocon and the brothers led to the hacking at around 9 p.m. on Sept. 15.

PJ was wounded on various parts of the body while Honey Joe sustained a hack wound on the throat, said the police.

Taladocon fled after the incident. He remains at large as of this writing./PN
